The 365 Day Challenge

My goal is to create something every day using something from my craft cupboard. I am a self-confessed fabric addict and just love to fossick through thrift shops and find treasures.

So here goes. Live, love, recycle and get crafting.

Day 261 - Handmade gift tags

Handmade gift tags are cute and original. Here's how I made mine.

Cut out the cardboard into whatever shape you like and add a circle sticker.

Punch a hole in the middle of your sticker.

Add some decorative tape. Too easy!

I made some more using the front of the envelope from my Peppermint magazine subscription because I liked the pretty paper.

These are Christmas ones.

Make some to why don't you? It doesn't get any easier than this. I'll be back tomorrow.

  1. Those are adorable. I really love the ones from the magazine subscription...such a lovely envelope. Have you ever made any from old Christmas cards, by cutting out shapes on the card...Santa, snowmen, candles, Christmas trees, etc.?

What kind of magazine is Peppermint? I don't think we have that one here in the states.

  2. I haven't done that but I have collected some and never done anything with them. The kids might like to do that too. Peppermint is a magazine devoted to sustainability and ethical fashion. It's carbon neutral and environmentally friendly and Australian.

  3. Thanks. I love magazines, so I'm always interested in ones I've not heard of.
