Back from camping but so exhausted and feeling a bit down as I always do after quality family time away. The time away camping was good healing time, did some grieving for my Nan and some reminiscing, started to feel better, then had a down day again today.
Liam had a wonderful birthday yesterday, and I took him to see Chitty chitty bang bang in Melbourne on the way home. He was still on a high this morning.
I can't believe that little man is 8 years old already. The years just fly by. I miss those baby years, although I do love the little man he is now.
Some memories below, and a few snaps of camping and beach fun.
Here are some canvasses with felt, paint, some stitching and a few other bits and pieces. I made them. Only five days to go....Have no idea what I'm making. Can't think past today at the moment.
Looks like you all had a brilliant time. Love the sunset pic....it is magical.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad y'all had such a good time at the beach...even if you did have to put the babe in jail, lol!!
ReplyDeleteThe little canvases are precious. You could make five more...one a day, and there's your five days. You've done a great job of coming up with something different every day for all this time. What will you do after the five days is up?
Joyce
Yes Mezzy, lovely time and gorgeous sunsets down there. The jailbird didn't mind so much Joyce, he had loads of freedom down on the beach.
ReplyDeleteJoyce I do have another blog I set up a long time ago and never used, so I might use that, and keep making things and blogging about it, just not every day. It's been difficult to think beyond this one, part of me was even thinking of crossing out the 365 days and changing it to 400. :-)
It is, of course, your decision, but I know that I for one would love to keep one watching your creative mind at work. And I bet your other readers would, too!!
DeleteIf you do start using your other blog, please leave the URL for us, ok? TIA.
