The 365 Day Challenge

My goal is to create something every day using something from my craft cupboard. I am a self-confessed fabric addict and just love to fossick through thrift shops and find treasures.

So here goes. Live, love, recycle and get crafting.

Day 47 - 7 days and 7 ways to use an old dictionary - Part 6

Hello! Feeling awesome today as I've had a lovely day out with my daughter and catching up with an old friend, and also checking out some lovely things other people have made in Daylesford. I always love admiring the work of so many talented people that are out there.

Then I got home from this lovely day, missed my the rest of my family and found out that my blog and profile were featured over on Noah Scalin's Make Something 365. So all in all a ripper of a day. Thanks Noah. http://makesomething365.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/365-reasons-not-to-die-with-full-craft.html

So my dictionary challenge is almost over. Today I made a couple of scrabble tile pendants. I started the process yesterday by cutting out the dictionary pages and gluing them onto the scrabble tiles.

After gluing them on with some decoupage glue I applied a few layers of a polyurethane based gloss.

Then I glued on a couple of bails.

And the finished products.

Thanks so much to everyone who has read my blog, it really helps me to keep going every day and my life has definitely changed for the better.
